Surgical Implantology is a 5-day program with live patients. You operate; the faculty supervises every step.
- Place 20 implants yourself, in all areas of the mouth.

- Single, partial and full edentulism, with different degrees of bone resorption and difficulty.
- Minimally invasive and flap techniques; conventional, physiological and reverse drilling.
- Diagnose, plan and treat each case — with pre- and post-surgical clinical sessions.

Why are the courses held in Peru and Cuba?
Because of the patients. A hands-on course in the U.S. rarely lets you operate on more than a handful of cases. In Lima and Havana, the volume and variety of live cases is high enough for every dentist in the group to place 20 implants personally — single, partial and full edentulism, with different degrees of bone resorption. That is the reason the program runs there.
What's included, and what isn't?
Included: hotel with breakfast, local transportation, airport pickup, unlimited surgical material, lunch and amenities, welcome dinner, Friday gala dinner, a customized surgical scrub and your certificate. Not included: your international flight.
How many implants will I place myself?
Twenty, personally, in all areas of the mouth — plus surgical assistance on another 20. A 30-implant program is also available.
What's the group size?
Each course runs with 6 to 10 dentists. Small groups are what make it possible for everyone to operate, not watch.
Do I get a certificate?
Yes. You receive a certificate on completion of the program.
I've never placed an implant. Is this for me?
Surgical Implantology is an intermediate program. Tell us about your experience in the form and we will recommend whether to start here or with our foundation Oral Surgery course.
Can I bring my dental assistant?
Yes. Your auxiliary staff can join a dedicated program that trains them as surgical field assistants and instrumentalists in oral and implant surgery, including operating room sterilization techniques.
